That’s where yoga comes in. Learn how to reconnect with yourself and find your inner stillness.
“Yoga is a way of moving into stillness in order to experience the truth of who you are. It is also a way of learning to be centered in action so that you always have the clearest perspective on what’s happening and are therefore able to respond most appropriately…It is an ancient process designed to help you uncover and discover your true nature so you can live daily life with that new awareness.” – Eric Schiffmann, “The Spirit and Practice of Moving into Stillness”
Find time in your day to just sit and be with yourself. Follow your breath in and out of your nose and notice the quality of your breath, the state of your mind, and check in with your physical body. As your mind wanders, bring it back to the breath, using your breath as a point of concentration. You might be surprised to see what you discover, and maybe even find that inner stillness, peace, and calm.
